Genesco Upgrades POS Hardware with Fujitsu?s TeamPoS 3000 XL2 System
Fujitsu Transaction Solutions Inc. announced today that Genesco Inc., a leading North American shoe and headwear retailer, will be upgrading its point-of-sale (POS) technology with Fujitsu?s TeamPoS 3000 XL 2 systems. The rollout includes 1,350 locations across Genesco?s Journeys, Journeys Kidz, Shi by Journeys, Underground Station and Johnston & Murphy chains.

The device uses Qualcomm's MSM7201A processor, clocked at 528MHz, with 256MB of RAM, 512MB of flash, and microSD expansion slots. It also includes a 3.5-inch display with 800 x 480 resolution, a three megapixel main camera, and a secondary VGA-resolution camera for videoconferencing, says Pharos.
